Gulv / floor

This weekend is a holiday in Norway, but I will get little rest. I have to paint the floors and it is a hell of a job. I have done several floors before at Stockfleth’s so I know what is waiting for me.. It is not the job itself that is boring, but the fact that I have to wait 24 hours between each coating. I am painting 2 coats with black paint and 9 coats of matte transparent paint. Between each coating I have to sand down the previous coating so that the finish gets extraordinary nice. Being a perfectionist isn’t easy…

The opening date has been moved to the end of june… Probably the 30th.
This is because the authorities will not allow me to have employees working for me without having a ventilation system up and running. The good ol’opening the windos is not good enough anymore. Even if it is summer in Oslo.
