We are proud to announce that we just bought the 2009 Costa Rica Cup of Excellence lot #8 for USD 7.10 per pound (453g) of green unpacked and unshipped coffee. (Marketprice is about USD 1.30 per pound.) The Coffee from the farm San Pedro was one of our favourites among this years auction lots from Costa Rica. Here is a brief taste description: A very juicy and sweet coffee with soft mouthfeel and sweet berrylike acidity. Flavours of chocolate, cherries and blackberries. Sweet and juicy finish. Hopefully we will get the coffee within 2 months.
