1) WORLD BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIP
Over the past few months, I have been mentoring and training Diego Campos (Colombia Barista Champion) in preparation for this event. You might recognise Diego from some of the videos from Colombia we have shared online. He is a good friend and partner of mine when working at Finca Tamana and my biological farm, Finca El Suelo. Really looking forward to this event and hope some of you can come to show your support!

2) INTERNATIONAL CAFE SHOW SEOUL
We will be at the international Cafe Show Seoul partnering with BKON and their distributor, Dooree Trading. For those of you that are unfamiliar with BKON, it is a new type of craft brewer that helps realize the full potential of coffee. Their process is called RAIN and what it does is radically alter the curve of extraction by accelerating the release of the inhibiting gases without the need for agitation. This capability of theirs unlocks richer experiences of the naturally occuring flavor characteristics found in third wave coffees, based on terroirs and roasting profile.
Drop by to taste some of our coffee brewed on the BKON this whole weekend.
I will be brewing on Thurs, 9th Nov from 1-3pm and Fri, 10th Nov in the morning until 2pm.

3) WORLD AEROPRESS CHAMPIONSHIP
I’ll also be one of the judges during the World Aeropress Championship. This event will be taking place at 7PM on 9th Nov at Cafe Alver (알베르) Gangnam, Seoul. See you there!
