James Hoffman “World Atlas of Coffee” Book Launch & Signing

We will be brewing and serving coffee at James Hoffman’s upcoming book launch and signing next week.

When: Wednesday, 4th October (2-4PM)
Where: Espresso Spesialisten (Tromsøgata 5B, 0565 Oslo)

About the author:

James Hoffmann is a British barista, coffee consultant and 2007 World Barista Champion. He is also the owner and founder of Square Mile Coffee Roasters in London.

Next Wednesday, 4th October, James will be launching the Norwegian translation of his book, “World Atlas of Coffee” at Espresso Spesialisten.

About the event:

Join us as James recounts stories from his book and many travels to coffee regions around the world. From cultivation to harvesting, roasting, brewing and water quality, James looks at all of these and other crucuial factors – different subspecies, the impact of soil and local climate, and also how the coffee is brewed. From Australia to Africa and South America, he goes through the main characteristics and also provides practical advice on how to brew excellent coffee at home.

For anyone who wants a better understanding of coffee and its wonderful possibilities, this is an important book, rich, with great illustrations, maps and photos.

*Tim will be curating and managing the brew bar throughout the event so if you’re a big coffee fan, here’s your chance to meet two coffee specialists at the same time.
