Team leader roastery, roaster and barista

Coordinates the roastery team, makes sure our coffee is roasted to perfection and that our guests in the espresso bar have a good experience.

Marit is the queen of balance. She is extremely clear in her expectations for the team’s effort in the roastery, but is also everyone’s best friend at the same time. She also holds the receipt for the balance between high efficiency and a simultaneous focus on the details that makes the quality difference. Marit never compromises on quality and end result.

She started working as a barista at the age of 17, and since then she has been working in the service industry, and still loves it. In June 2015 she joined our team and she is the team member that helps us to always focus on the solutions, and not the problems.

The most important thing for Marit as our team member:

I want to be a good colleague, and it’s important that everyone has had a good and fun day at work. Throughout the years working in Team Wendelboe, it has been important to me to stay humble and curious, and remember that there is always something that can be done better.
