Santa Barbara
During our trip to Brazil in 2009, we met a humble and very dedicated coffee farmer named Eulino. (The man with the blue baseball hat.)
Mr. Eulino has been growing coffee for over 20 years and is committed to producing high quality coffee at his family run farm. He is personally monitoring and controlling everything from farm input, pruning, picking, processing and drying to ensure that quality is maintained in every step of the production.
This is probably the reason why his coffee was the one we liked the most when we were cupping the very best coffees we came across in Brazil in 2009. And probably also the reason why this very lot won the “Best of Bahia” competition, a competition recognizing the best coffee lots from Bahia each year.
Mr. Eulino’s coffee also came in 15th place in the 2009 Brazil Cup of Excellence.
You can see more pictures from our Brazil trip on the bottom of this page and find more info about the farm here.
