Best of Panama
For years, Panama has held the Best of Panama competition and auction which is based upon the same platform as the Cup of Excellence but under their own brand. The principles are the same: Find the best coffees from Panama through systematical blind tastings and put them on sale in an internet auction.
On the 2009 auction we bought 2 small lots of coffee.
Lot no. 14 is roasted for espresso and lot no. 7 is roasted for filter / aeropress / french press coffee.

Origin: Barriles, Volcan, Panama.
Growing conditions: 1380 m.a.s.
Botanical variety: Geisha.
Process: Washed.
Flavour profile: Floral, fruity, citric and sweet.
