A Crafty Christmas from Brendan Inkognito on Vimeo.
This christmas we will be offering some rarities on sale.
1. TW KeepCup with a coffee of choice for Kr. 95,-
The KeepCup is made of plastic and is reuseable. Very handy for the thirsty traveller in the car or on a tram ride. It is also available on the Webshop.
2. Cascara. Kr. 59,- per 150g
We have 25 bags of dried coffee pulp, produced by our friend Ms. Aida Battle at her farm Kilimanjaro in El Salvador.
The Cascara is brewed and drunk like a fruit tea and it contains a bit more caffeine than normal coffee. It tastes a lot like rose hips, tobacco and raisins and is a delicious drink in the cold Norwegian winter day. Cascara will only be for sale in our store.
3. The Norwegian version of the book “Kaffe med Tim Wendelboe” will be on sale for Kr. 199,- in our store and on our web-shop.
4. Hacienda La Esmeralda. Kr. 215,- per 250g
Many of you remember this fantastic coffee from Panama. Well we saved 6 kilos for christmas, so we will roast the last batch on tuesday the 21st of December. This coffee will only be for sale in our store.
5. TW Christmas Espresso
Like last year we have decided to make a limited edition Christmas Espresso Blend.
We will only be selling 500 kg of the blend starting from Tuesday the 30th of November, it is also now available on our Webshop for Norwegian customers.
The blend consists of:
75% Tekangu, Kenya
25% Primavera, Brazil
Flavour profile:
Intense aromas of berry and marzipan.
Lively acidity, intense flavours of black currants and rose hips.
Short finish with hints of milk chocolate and marzipan.
Here is a little feature about my book “Coffee with Tim Wendelboe” and a short interview in the New York Times.
For those of you who want to purchase the book and you are living in the USA, please go here to buy a copy.
We also sell the book in English or Norwegian in our web shop.
It’s arrived. The English version of ‘Coffee with Tim Wendelboe’ has finally been printed and is ready for your eyes.
‘Coffee with Tim Wendelboe’ gives you advice in selecting the right brewing equipment, recipes on different brewing methods and tips on how to buy the best coffee. Tim writes about how coffee is grown, produced, imported and roasted and gives you many reasons why some coffees taste better than others. There are also some pastry recipes by one of norways best pastry chefs, Sverre Sætre in adittion to a couple of tasty and simple coffee drink recipes from Tim Wendelboe’s espresso bar.
The book is available for purchase from the Webshop for retail price. We will also be shipping the book worldwide. If you would like to sell the book in your own store, please contact Tim directly via email for wholesale enquires.
My new book is now for sale in our web shop or in a bookstore near you. It is a book mainly written for consumers that have an interest in coffee and that are interested in learning more about coffee and how to make their coffee taste better. I also hope that a lot of baristas and coffee professionals will read the book and hopefully get inspiration and new ideas in order to push our industry forward.
The book is about what affects the quality of the coffee from pruduction to roasting, brewing and serving. It is pretty much a sum up of what I know about coffee, but I have tried to write it quite simple so that it is easier for non- coffee professionals to understand what coffee is all about.
My publisher, Schibsted, is publishing the first edition, but it is only written in Norwegian. That is why I need all the help I can get in order to convince my publisher to translate the book into English, so that my friends that don’t know how to read Norwegian can read it too.
So, if you would consider buying my book if it was written in English, please vote “yes” in the poll below.
