Lokalet er i ferd med å ta form. Etter å ha revet, planlagt og tegnet har snekkerne begynt å jobbe. De er meget effektive og vil være ferdige allerede neste uke. Det vil si at det eneste som kan forsinke åpningen, som jeg antar blir i uke 24, er vinduene som skal byttes ut. Uten vinduer er det vanskelig å drive butikk.. Det som gjenstår etter at snekkerne er ferdige er elektriker og rørarbeide, maling av vegger og behandling av gulv. Så skal baren bygges og maskiner installeres. Jeg har allerede raidet 13 loppemarked og kuppet både møbler og dippedutter. Stedet vil ha et litt rustikk preg samtidig som det vil reflektere min interesse for 50 til 70 talls design. (Litt James bond in her majestys secret service). Jeg er selv veldig spent på hvordan det vil se ut til slutt.

The roastery is starting to take shape. After the demolition derby I had for 2 weeks, a lot of planning and drawing has been done. My carpenters are extremely efficient and will be finished allready next week with the major constructions. The things that will be done after they disappear is electrical work and plumbing. Then I have to build the bar, paint the walls and the floors needs to be treated. The only thing that might delay the planned opening in week 24 is the windows I have to replace. They might take 6-8 weeks before they arrive, but I am confident that they will arrive in time. I have decided that the place will be rustique with a touch of 50′s 60′s and 70′s design. (I have allready been at 13 flea markets and bought a bunch of cool things for my store) I just love the style in the old 007 movies, so I can’t imagine anything better than to build my new “home” with a sense of that style and mentality.
